Deep Coistrels are found in B14F, and will pursue the party if the gates are opened.
In battle, they use Leaping Slash to hit the front row for a hefty amount of damage. They also may assume a Counter stance to deter physical attackers, which is deadly if you try to go all out on him on that turn.
It is best to attack them with a Zodiac's elemental skills. If a Deep Prelate joins the battle, they may use Sea Guillotine together, which damages and may cause instant death to all party members.
Deep Coistrels may also be summoned by three Otherspawn on later floors.
