This monster is quite common as a FOE during the 5th Stratum. Once it catches sight of the player, it will ceaseless chase them until the party is engaged in battle.
Although not that powerful, it often attacks in groups of 3.
Its main attack is Slash, which deals some damage to the whole party, but it is only used after using Charge, making it quite predictable. The most effective way to deal with it is to bind its head, turning Slash useless.

Desouler appears on B3F of the Lush Woodlands when entered via the Misty Ravine. It is not a very threatening FOE. It is like a harder version of a Bloodbear. It will usually use Raging Assault after it uses Charge. If it sees you (its icon turns red), it will not stop following you until you engage battle or leave its 'area' (i.e. walk through a door). It is recommended that you defend after it uses Charge, as Raging Assault is somewhat powerful.

Desoulers are FOEs found in the 5th Stratum. They patrol a set path, but if the player maintains eye contact with them, they will remain stationary.
In battle, they have a tendency to use Charge and follow with their Furious Slash. Battling them is a simple matter of defending after they use Charge or binding their arms to disable their offensive bite. Killing a Desouler with a fire attack has a chance of dropping Burnt Blood, which can be sold to the shop to create Amrita II.
