Fenders are first encountered on the 2nd floor of the Emerald Grove.
Fenders are beautiful deer with pale-blue fur and a golden mane that live in packs within the Emerald Grove. They look identical to Ragelopes but, unlike these, fenders are normal random encounters.
These monsters are somewhat dangerous for the area they are found in. They hit hard, which means if the party decides to explore the second level without upgrading their equipment or doing some grinding, fenders may very well one-hit kill most classes; their defense is also above-average, so if you are not confident in defeating one, avoiding them (and obviously the stronger Ragelope as well) is advisable at least until you clear B2F.
