Guardian Ant (or Guardant) is a monster fought in Etrian Odyssey. It also appears on Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City and Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl, once again, serving under the ant army.
This ant is the most common soldier of the ant army. It has the highest defense of its family and can boost it even higher. Its later incarnation can also summon allies.

Guardian Ants are first encountered on B10F in Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City.
Guardian Ants are normally encountered in pairs. They will use Defend Stance to boost the defense of all enemies in the fight. They can also summon two Killer Ants; if they do, the fight can get quite annoying, since they will boost the Killer Ants defense as well.
