Pomona Takers can be encountered during certain quests leading to the Wicked Queen fight in the 3rd stratum.
Function-wise, they resemble Killer Ants. They can be summoned by Attendants, which Pomona Takers themselves can also summon. Bring some AOE skills to handle this onslaught of ants.
Pomona Takers can be summoned during the fight with the Wicked Queen, but those that appear then will not dispense any experience points.
