The Venomfly is a stronger version of the Woodfly seen in earlier levels, starting from B2F. They are able to use the skill Poison on your team which can be lethal to low levels. A trio of Venomflies can be encountered on B1F in a one time event if one chooses to rest. It is highly recommended that you avoid this encounter at that stage by not resting when prompted.

  • In order to get the Venomfly's conditional drop, the Insect Eye, you need to kill it with a non-physical attack (no Cut/Bash/Stab Element).

Venomflies are first encountered on 2F.

Like in the first game, Venomflies die easily, but they have the Poison ability, which poisons a party member. Its definitely a good idea to kill them first, to prevent them from poisoning your party.

Their Poison can sap health for hundreds of points of damage, so it is best to kill them quickly.

The Venomfly appears throughout Emerald Grove. Unlike their counterparts, the Woodfly, Venomflies will cast Poison Dust to poison a single member of your party, which can deal a significant amount of damage.

Venomflys are first found on 2F of the Ancient Forest. As usual, they can poison a single party members with Poison Powder. While the damage of the poison is high, these enemies have low health and won't cause much problem. Inflicting arm bind on them prevent the Venomfly from using Poison Powder. They are also vulnerable to pierce and volt attacks.

When killed, they drop the ingredient item Still Venomfly.
